Kibayo is a peaceful getaway hidden between a lush green lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, located between Cabarete and Sosua in the North coast of the Dominican Republic. The location consists of a villa with a calming and earthy look and feel, where guests have the opportunity to stay amongst nature.

A tropical front and backyard with swimming pool, bar/restaurant area, organic garden, lagoon entrance, multifunctional garden cabana and direct access to an array of holistic amenities. Feel good, do good is our essence. We believe that we can reach this by providing a place where everybody has the opportunity to feel connected with themselves, others and the world around them.

The positioning and surroundings of Kibayo are unique and special. Kibayo is located next to National Park El Choco which offers a world of nature for hiking, mountain biking, fresh water lagoons, and caves. Our big secluded garden provides a beautiful view over the park and a private entrance into the park’s lagoon. In addition, Kibayo is also located next to the Atlantic Ocean, with the world-famous Kite Beach within walking distance. And just a 10-minute drive from the center of Cabarete and Sosua which offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, and much more.

We are Taif van der Haar and Estee Princen – van der Haar, founders and owners of Kibayo. We are dreamers at heart, and always on the pursuit of living life to the fullest. We do this by making our dreams become a reality. As strong believers in being the creators of our life, we strive to take daily actions towards our goals. This is what makes us happy, and the happier we can be, the happier others will be. Making the world a happier place. It was from this place that we created Kibayo, to enable others to become inspired and make the world a happier place.
